Lift Director Training and CCO Certification

Our Lift Director Prep Course is designed to train Candidates to pass the NCCCO Lift Director certification exams. The course covers the 6 knowledge areas of the CCO written test:

  • Site

  • Roles, Responsibilities, and Qualifications

  • Lifting Operations

  • Lift Plans

  • Rigging

  • Signals

    The Lift Director certification has two specialties: Mobile crane and Tower Crane. See the table below for the required exams for each specialty. Operator and rigger exams required to be completed prior to Lift Director training.

Course Includes:

  • 1 day classroom instruction, 1 day for written exams (Prerequisite exams required prior to Lift Director)

  • Lift Director training materials, practice tests and study guide

  • Event Online Testing (EOT) examination on site

REGISTRATION FORMS AND MYCCO PORTAL


As of December 1, 2022, all CCO candidates (new or existing) must first create their myCCO account through the portal to apply for CCO exams. This includes candidates applying for CCO exams through any of the written exam modalities (paper/pencil testing, computer-based testing, Event Online Testing, and Online Proctored Testing) as well as practical exams.
