Practical Examinations for CCO Certification

High Score Training is proud to offer the services of our accredited NCCCO practical examiner, who is fully equipped to conduct any NCCCO examination. With our comprehensive range of test kits and materials, we ensure that all necessary resources are available for a seamless testing experience.

Practical Examination Includes:

  • Test site setup through NCCCO (Requires an on-site review prior to the training day, set up fees apply)

  • Designated Test Site Coordinator

  • An CCO-credentialed Practical Exam Proctor

  • All required practical examination materials (Rigging, Test load, etc.)

Site Requirements:

  • Equipment that meets CCO requirements for the practical exam; all load handling equipment used for CCO testing shall comply with minimum OSHA requirements; where OSHA does not apply ASME B30 will be used (see “Crane/Equipment Selection and Setup” in appropriate Practical Test Site Coordinator Handbook)

  • An outside area suitable for testing on the equipment selected and ancillary equipment necessary for conducting the exam (see “Test Site Setup”). Pole corridors may be set up on asphalt, concrete surface, or firm and compacted sand, dirt, or gravel (free of vegetation) with a sufficiently uniform surface to permit the poles to stand vertical and slide freely; grass surfaces are not acceptable.

  • Any ancillary equipment necessary for conducting the exam(s)

  • An indoor facility with a waiting area suitable for the Pre-Test Briefing of exam candidate

REGISTRATION FORMS AND MYCCO PORTAL


As of December 1, 2022, all CCO candidates (new or existing) must first create their myCCO account through the portal to apply for CCO exams. This includes candidates applying for CCO exams through any of the written exam modalities (paper/pencil testing, computer-based testing, Event Online Testing, and Online Proctored Testing) as well as practical exams.
